The team formed in 2022 when AIM acquired Beaumont Capital Management, combining our research and investment management capabilities.

Todd is the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Algorithmic Investment Models, LLC (AIM).
In 2012, Todd launched Algorithmic Investment Models (AIM) to design machine-learning based financial products and develop proprietary data mining software that enables rapid customization and performance analysis.
Todd has designed billion-dollar institutional products for major Wall Street firms, worked as an equity portfolio manager and has run a hedge fund. He holds a degree in mathematics from the University of Chicago and a
Masters of Public Policy from the Kennedy School at Harvard University.
In 1990 Todd left Salomon Brothers and joined BEA Associates, which was in the process of creating a quantitative equity analysis group. Todd worked directly with Bill Priest (currently Executive Chairman and Co-Chief Investment Officer Epoch Investment Partners) and developed a structured equity product, managed a convertible bond portfolio and invested the firm’s hedge fund, overseeing more than $1 billion in assets by the time he departed in 1997. Between 1998 and 2014 Todd worked to develop and refine the models that became the foundation for AIM’s Decathlon strategies.

Andrew Rice

Portfolio Manager and Chief Operating Officer
Andrew joined AIM in 2016 and built the firm’s proprietary graphical analysis software
Manages research into new model factors and deep learning approaches
Has a background as a quantitative analyst focused on public policy
Holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Emory University and a master’s in public policy from the University of Chicago
In addition to overseeing firm operations, Andrew is one of the lead programmers and researchers for the company’s proprietary investment systems. He is also a member of the investment committee for the Decathlon strategies.
Andrew joined AIM in 2016 and built the firm’s proprietary graphical analysis software and manages research efforts into new model factors and deep learning approaches.
Andrew spent the prior 10 years of his career as a quantitative analyst focused on public policy in Chicago. He designed and managed databases, led research projects, and managed strategic planning initiatives for city
departments and large non-profit organizations. In addition, he co-founded a consulting business that provides data management, research, and strategic planning services to non-profit organizations.
Andrew has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Emory University and a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.

Brendan Ryan, CFA
Partner
Portfolio Manager
Brendan focuses on fundamental analysis and market research
Oversees business, finance, and distribution activities, and serves on the firm’s investment committee
Holds the Series 65 securities license and is a CFA® Charterholder
Earned a B.A. in economics from Boston College
As a Portfolio Manager, Brendan helps lead the firm’s investment activities with a focus on fundamental analysis. He contributes to ongoing market research, product enhancement and development, as well as thought leadership. Additionally, as a Partner of the firm, Brendan assists in overseeing all business, finance, and distribution activities.
He serves on the investment committee and is additionally responsible for the implementation and trading of the strategies, and operational support. He currently holds the Series 65 securities license and is a CFA® Charterholder.
Brendan worked in Beaumont Financial Partners’ wealth management division where he focused primarily on fundamental equity research before moving over to the asset management division formerly known as BCM. Prior to joining the firm, Brendan had spent time working for Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. after receiving his B.A. in Economics from Boston College.

Denis Rezendes, CFA

Denis helps lead investment activities, focusing on quantitative analysis

As a Portfolio Manager, Denis helps lead the firm’s investment activities with a focus on quantitative analysis. He contributes to ongoing market research, product enhancement and development, as well as thought leadership. Additionally, as a Partner of the firm, Denis assists in overseeing all business, partnership, and distribution activities.
He serves on the investment committee and is additionally responsible for the implementation and trading of the strategies, and operational support. He currently holds the Series 65 securities license and is a CFA® Charterholder.
Prior to joining the firm, Denis worked for River and Mercantile Solutions and Boston Trust and Investment Management Company. He is a graduate of Babson College with a B.S. in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance.

David Hill
Data Science Engineer
David develops code that supports and enhances the firm’s proprietary trading models
Helps design and develop new machine learning based financial products
Member of firm’s Investment Committee
Graduated from Boston College with bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Economics
As a data science engineer, David develops code that powers AIM’s investment models. He focuses on optimization and feature-engineering to help enhance AIM’s Decathlon strategies while also contributing to the design and development of new machine-learning-based financial products. Additionally, he contributes quantitative market research through data visualization and statistical analysis and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
David interned with AIM in 2022 and 2023, and began with the firm full-time in August 2023 after graduating magna cum laude with Bachelor’s Degrees in Computer Science and Economics from Boston College.

Courtney Doyle
Director of Marketing
Manages all aspects of the firm’s marketing and plays a key role in sales support
Started her career at Athena Capital Advisors and holds a B.S. in marketing from Bentley University
Holds the Series 65 securities license
As the Director of Marketing, Courtney manages all aspects of the firm’s marketing including the firm’s communication efforts, brand strategy, and advisor engagement. She plays a key role in sales support to develop materials and initiatives that support advisors and effectively communicate the firm’s investment approach. Additionally, Courtney helps manage the firm’s compliance and human resources functions.
Courtney began her career at Athena Capital Advisors after earning a B.S. from Bentley University in Marketing. She held various roles including assisting the Investment Research and Client teams, then transitioned to the
marketing team, where she assisted with the development of the firm’s marketing, branding and digital content initiatives. Courtney holds the Series 65 securities license.

Dan is the Head of National Accounts and a Senior Regional Consultant for Algorithmic Investment Models (AIM). As Head of National Accounts, Dan builds and maintains relationships with broker-dealer, RIA, and TAMP business partners to understand the goals of their investment programs, engage and support their advisors, and identify solutions that can help provide positive investment experiences to their end investors.
As a Regional Consultant, he partners closely with AIM’s portfolio managers to provide consultative investment support to advisors. Drawing on his decades of experience working with advisors in the broker-dealer, RIA, and institutional channels, Dan seeks to help advisors add value to their clients and efficiency to their practice through investment management support. He assists with overall asset allocation and portfolio recommendations and helps advisors incorporate AIM’s AI-based strategies into client portfolios.
Prior to joining AIM, Dan founded Trident Distribution Partners, where he engaged with emerging money managers to increase distribution, primarily through platforms providing model delivery. Before founding Trident, Dan held various business development roles at Clark Capital, BNY Mellon, and Natixis Global Asset Management, where he focused primarily on servicing the RIA, broker-dealer, and institutional markets and gained extensive experience working with SMA, UMA, Mutual Fund, and Defined Contribution accounts.
Dan has over three decades of experience in the investment industry, delivering investment expertise through multiple distribution channels. This diverse experience has given Dan the knowledge and professional insight into addressing time, growth and capacity challenges many advisors face.
Dan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Coastal Carolina University. He holds his Series 65 securities license and currently resides in Florida.

Prior to joining AIM, Jim began his career in financial services in 1995 at Northwestern Mutual where he started as a financial advisor. He then continued to Morgan Stanley, Salomon Brothers, and later Guardian holding various business development positions and developing an expertise in managed accounts, portfolio construction, and practice management. In 2001, while at Fidelity Investments, Jim was promoted to Regional Vice President and in 2010 became the Director of National Sales at FundQuest. Most recently, he was a regional consultant at AssetMark. This diverse experience has given Jim the knowledge and professional insight into solving time, growth and capacity challenges his advisors face.
Jim graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and holds the Series 65 license. He currently resides in New Jersey.

Brandon began his career over 15 years ago as a Shareholder Correspondent for Pioneer Investments. In his last role there, he had worked up to a Regional Vice President position after serving the financial needs of countless advisors and their clients. His expansive work experience alongside advisors and deep understanding of the industry have given Brandon the knowledge and professional insight into solving time, growth and capacity challenges his advisors face.
Brandon graduated from Suffolk University and holds the Series 66 securities license. He currently resided outside of Boston, MA.

Jared is a regional consultant for AIM and works closely with the firm’s internal team to provide consultative investment support to advisors. Drawing on his years of experience working with advisors primarily in the RIA, wirehouse, and independent broker-dealer channels, Jared seeks to help advisors add value for their clients and efficiency to their practice through investment management support. He assists with overall asset allocation recommendations and helps advisors incorporate AIM’s opportunistic growth strategies that pursue growth without sacrificing a focus on downside protection.
Before joining AIM, Jared worked for Longboard Asset Management providing portfolio construction and practice management support to advisors. Before Longboard, he held client service and business development roles at Amundi Pioneer and State Street Corporation.
Jared graduated cum laude from Suffolk University with a B.S. in finance and is a CIMA professional. He lives in Phoenix, Arizona.

Advisory Board

Gordon Bennett, CFA, CFP®
Gordon Bennett, CFA, CFP®, has worked in the financial markets for nearly 40 years. He began his career at Citibank as a government bond trader on the positioning and arbitrage desk. He next moved into fixed-income portfolio management at BEA Associates. Subsequently, he consulted with a New York hedge fund and eventually became a founding partner at Lamarck, Inc., a firm specializing in developing fault-tolerant algorithmic software. In the early 2000s, he established the still extant Bennett Financial Advisors, serving a select group of clients. In the late aughts, he rejoined Todd Rice—with whom he had worked at BEA Associates and Lamarck—and founded AIM to focus on developing investment products based on machine learning.
Gordon is a graduate of Harvard College with a degree in East Asian languages and civilization. He has a master’s in economics from New York University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Financial Planner. He is the president of Congregation Kehillath Israel in Brookline, Massachusetts, where he has served on the board for 10 years.

Kevin Osborn
Kevin Osborn has been active in the financial services industry for 35 years. He held numerous executive positions at Prudential Investments from 1987 until 2013, when he led the divestiture of the wealth management business to Envestnet. Kevin remained with Envestnet until 2019. During his tenure at both organizations, he helped build and market the wealth management platform to banks, broker-dealers, and RIAs. In addition to leading the overall business, his responsibilities included due diligence, investment manager relations, product management, sales, and marketing.
In 2017, Kevin assisted in the formation of the Fiduciary Exchange (FidX). In partnership with Envestnet, FidX has created a fintech platform enabling the wealth management business to seamlessly integrate annuity and investment solutions into a client’s financial plan and portfolio.
Kevin earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst designation from IMCA in 1994. He was a founding member of the Board of Governors of the Money Management Institute and served until 2017. He is a 1985 graduate of Colgate University.
Kevin has been happily married to Chrissie for 30 years. They have three grown children (Kendra, Brittany, and Bobby), as well as a son-in-law (Patrick), and two grandchildren.

Dave Driscoll
David Driscoll is a Boston-based business consultant. He primarily focuses on early-stage companies in financial services, national security, and cybersecurity. He has been an active real estate investor in Boston and New York.
Before becoming a consultant, David worked at Merrill Lynch, Cambridge Technology Partners (acquired by Novell), Breakaway Solutions, and Liberty Media Ventures, where he held a variety of finance, corporate development, and marketing positions. He has assisted in the strategic planning and fundraising efforts of many early-stage companies. David is a former board member of Boost 3 Media as well as several stealth early-stage start-ups that spun out of the MIT media lab. He is also an advisor/investor in www.O2X.com, a human performance company started by former U.S. special operations team members.
Since 2012, David has served as an independent trustee of Direxion Funds, a portfolio of leveraged ETFs and mutual funds. At Direxion, he is a member of the Audit, Nominating, Cybersecurity and Qualified Legal Compliance committees. Direxion currently manages approximately $30 billion.
David has a B.A. from Boston College. He enjoys playing golf, coaching his children’s sports teams, and reading about history.
